Unveiled during the 2025 Boneyard Arts Festival, Harry Breen Unbound tells the story of local professor and artist Harry Breen.

Join us as we explore his life and take a deeper look into his career at the University of Illinois, professional art career, and community endeavors. Over the course of his life Breen honed his skill working with oil and watercolor paintings and clay ceramics. Breen is best known for his landscape paintings depicting the open prairies and fields of central Illinois. The exhibit also explores Breen's extensive efforts creating sacred art and iconography for local churches and schools including The Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Champaign.
